Na manhã deste domingo, o Bahia foi derrotado pelo Santos no Pacaembu, por 3 a 0, e deixou escapar a chance de se afastar da zona de rebaixamento. No entanto, o treinador Jorginho acredita que o time jogou bem e não merecia o resultado.

Essa foi a segunda partida fora de casa seguida que o Bahia disputou nesta semana: na quarta-feira, venceu o Atlético-MG dentro da Arena Independência por 2 a 0. Segundo Jorginho, apesar da derrota, o Bahia jogou melhor neste domingo do que contra o Galo, e vê o placar de 3 a 0 como injusto.

– Eu acho que a gente não jogou mal. A gente, na realidade, foi muito mais pressionado pelo Atlético-MG do que nesse jogo. Nós tomamos um gol num momento em que a gente estava muito bem na partida. Não consigo enxergar realmente, os 3 a 0 não condizem com aquilo que foi o jogo. Tomamos o segundo gol no finalzinho do primeiro tempo. Isso foi um baque muito forte, porque a equipe estava se recuperando do gol tomado, a equipe estava organizada – lamentou o treinador.

O elenco do Bahia também fez coro ao técnico Jorginho. Para o volante Juninho, o time tricolor pecou nas chances desperdiçadas, além da desatenção no lances de gol do Santos.

– Tivemos algumas desatenções. Começamos o jogo bem, mas tivemos desatenções que acabaram nos prejudicando no primeiro tempo. Tivemos chances, mas não fizemos no segundo tempo. Isso acaba nos prejudicando – contou o jogador à Rádio Metrópole.

O Bahia volta a jogar no próximo domingo, quando recebe o Sport na Arena Fonte Nova, pela 17ª rodada do Brasileiro.

وقال عاطف حنفي مدير الكرة بنادي فاركو خلال مداخلة هاتفية ببرنامج “الريمونتادا”: “هناك نية لدينا بتفعيل بند الشراء في عقد الحارس بعد انتهاء الموسم الحالي، خاصة أنه لاعب مميز ومستقبل حراسة المرمى في مصر بجانب محمود جاد حارس مرمى إنبي”.

وعن الفوز على إنبي في مباراة اليوم تحدث: “تعرضنا لموقف صعب للغاية بغياب الـ3 مهاجمين الأساسيين بالفريق لإصابات طويلة، مثل عمرو جمال وسيف تيري ورزقي حمرون واضطررنا للاعتماد على الشباب”.

وأضاف: “أشكر البرتغالي نونو ألميدا وجهازه الفني بالكامل، جميع أفراد الجهاز يعملون طوال الوقت دون توقف، وهو ما ساعدنا على النجاح حاليا”.

واختتم: “نوفر المتطلبات المنطقية للجهاز الفني وهو ما خلق بيئة تساعد على النجاح”.

The new Champions League season has finally begun for Pep Guardiola’s side and it’s fair to say Manchester City enjoyed a scintillating start on Wednesday evening. 

After coming so close last year, reaching the final whilst playing some devastating football at the top level, City are tasked with reaching those heights yet again but going one step further and winning a competition which has long eluded them.

It couldn’t have been a more entertaining opener to their 21/22 European campaign as the Sky Blues battered Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig at the Etihad Stadium – with nine goals and a red card to boot as City came away 6-3 victors.

Strikers from six different scorers in Nathan Ake, Riyad Mahrez, Jack Grealish, Joao Cancelo, Gabriel Jesus and a Nordi Mukiele own goal sent Guardiola’s side to the top of the group.

Former player Angelino, making his Eastlands return with Leipzig, was also dismissed after being shown a second yellow card.

However, while the attack enjoyed an amazing afternoon, the same cannot be said for City’s backline which conceded three soft goals.

One of the main culprits, Oleksandr Zinchenko, has been slammed on Twitter for his defensive display.

The Ukraine international was handed City’s lowest SofaScore rating on the night with a 6.0, winning only a third of his ground duels, being dribbled past once and losing the ball 10 times.

Clark, who is 33, has had a disrupted season since being hampered by the problem during the tour of India and electing to have an operation when the series against South Africa began.Clark, who bowled three overs in his return for Sydney University on Saturday, did not make his Test debut until he was 30 and thinks the late entry will help extend his career. “I believe it depends on what age you come into international cricket,” he said in the Sunday Mail.”If you come in when you are young, you have about eight to 10 years of good international cricket just because the travel and the number of games you play wears you down. I came in late, so I missed a lot of that wear and tear when I was younger.”Clark, who has appeared in 22 Tests, said he had “three or four years of good cricket in me”, but his first priority was getting back to full fitness. He will hope to be ready for New South Wales’ Sheffield Shield match against Tasmania in Newcastle on Friday to prove his form and fitness for the tour of South Africa.On that trip three years ago Clark stormed to 20 wickets at 15.85 in his debut series. “I know not many fast bowlers go on beyond the age of 33 or 34,” he said, “but I am going to beg to differ.”

Tasmania have kept their hopes of making the finals alive with a comfortable 28-run win over New South Wales in the Twenty20 Big Bash clash at ANZ Stadium in Sydney. The Tigers dominated from start to finish after being sent in by the Blues captain Simon Katich. The openers Rhett Lockyear and Michael Dighton exploited the small dimensions of the Olympic Stadium with a powerful opening stand of 73 from 47 balls.Lockyear was particularly brutal with 51 from 29, including four towering sixes. Travis Birt picked up where Lockyear left off, clubbing five sixes of his own in a blistering 17-ball 44 to guide the visitors to 1 for 139 after 12 overs.But the Blues stopped the bleeding momentarily with Doug Bollinger and Mark Cameron claiming four wickets in ten deliveries. Jacques Kallis has said Australia can expect a few surprises from a South African think-tank that includes Duncan Fletcher during their upcoming three-Test series. Fletcher was England’s coach when they won the Ashes in 2005.”We have worked well with Duncan and he has got some new ideas to beat Australia,” Kallis told the . “He’s got some thoughts from the 2005 Ashes . . . but he has quite a few fresh plans for Australia this time around “England’s victory during the 2005 Ashes revolved largely around a four-man pace attack, with the likes of Simon Jones and Andrew Flintoff troubling the Australian batsman with reverse-swing, so much so that Australia hired Troy Cooley, England’s bowling coach during the 2005 contest.It was during Fletcher’s tenure, though, that England were blanked 5-0 in Australia, in 2006-07, and Australia have not lost a home series since 1992-93, when they were beaten 2-1 by West Indies in a five-Test series. Their record since that series reads: won 26, drawn 2.”I obviously can’t say much more on that . . . but our bowling is going to be quite crucial for us,” Kallis said.”There will be key moments in this series and we want to take advantage of them,” he said. “Australia have had a good couple of years and we are looking at this series as a huge challenge for us. Selling key players at the right time for the right price is a fundamental part of life as a mid-table Premier League club aspiring to climb up the standings.

The likes of Leicester City have continually punched above their weight after becoming masters at doing just that, but others have only been able to do so on a handful of occasions.

Crystal Palace are one of those. The Eagles have offloaded a few gems during their nine-season stay in England’s top-flight, with the club receiving a record fee for academy graduate Aaron Wan-Bissaka when he joined Manchester United for £50m back in 2019.

However, it’s another high-profile departure who has really helped to earn Selhurst Park chairman Steve Parish a reputation as a smooth operator in the transfer market.

Five years ago, Palace received a whopping £26m fee from Premier League rivals Everton for skillful winger Yannick Bolasie.

Although the Democratic Republic of Congo international showed flashes of brilliance – especially during 2014/15 as he provided 11 Premier League assists – and had the potential to become a more efficient forward, he had only scored 13 goals in 144 appearances for Palace prior to his sale.

The now 32-year-old made a fast start to life on Merseyside, scoring one goal and laying on four assists for his teammates in his first 15 outings for the Toffees in all competitions.

However, he then suffered a devastating cruciate ligament injury which heavily impacted the future fortunes of his career. Bolasie only scored once more for Everton before embarking on a series of loan spells with varying degrees of success.

Short-term stints at the likes of Sporting Lisbon, Middlesbrough and Anderlecht failed to reignite his career, and he’s now plying his trade with Turkish outfit Caykur Rizespor.

Bolasie’s dramatic drop-off in form and fitness struggles have seen his market value plummet to just £1.35m, proving that Parish was right to cash in on the attacker when he did.

O São Paulo não perderá Lucas Pratto para o resto do Brasileiro. A garantia é dada pelo presidente Carlos Augusto Barros e Silva, o Leco. O clube informa que a oferta de 20 milhões de euros (cerca de R$ 73 milhões) prometida pelo mexicano Veracruz ainda não chegou, mas que não há nem obrigação de cobri-la no momento.

– O Pratto é inegociável. Não vai sair – disse Leco, enquanto passava pelo CT da Barra Funda para acompanhar o treinamento comandando por Rogério Ceni na tarde desta segunda-feira.

A segurança passada pelo presidente é pelo contrato. Apenas a partir de janeiro de 2018 o Tricolor é obrigado a cobrir ofertas superiores a 11 milhões de euros (R$ 40,6 milhões) que chegarem pelo centroavante. Até lá, segue valendo o vínculo até janeiro de 2021 do argentino com o clube do Morumbi.

A tranquilidade são-paulina também se explica pelo fato de nenhuma oferta ter chegado ainda. Apesar de Mauro Lopes, representante de Pratto no Brasil, ter sido informado da oferta de 20 milhões de euros do Veracruz pelo jogador, o Tricolor alega ter recebido somente uma carta sem validade informando o interesse dos mexicanos e já desconsiderou o documento.

O São Paulo pagou6,2 milhões de euros (R$ 20,7 milhões) ao Galo em fevereiro e ficou com 50% dos direitos de Pratto, mas esse percentual pode crescer. Se o atacante cumprir uma meta de jogos por time e seleção, o clube é obrigado a pagar 1,5 milhão de euros (R$ 5,54 milhões) em janeiro por mais 15% dos direitos. A medida se repete em janeiro de 2019 e 2020, dando ao Tricolor a chance de ficar com 95% dos direitos dele – os outros 5% são do supermercado BH.

Lucas Pratto acumula 17 partidas e nove gols pelo clube do Morumbi. Está tão bem cotado com torcida, comissão técnica e diretoria que foi escolhido por Rogério Ceni para ser o capitão da equipe.
