O Botafogo até voltou a fazer gol, no último jogo, mas o empate com a Ponte Preta aumentou para cinco o número de jogos da equipe sem vencer. أعربت مجموعة سعودية خاصة عن رغبتها في شراء تشيلسي الإنجليزي، بعد قرار المالك رومان أبراموفيتش بطرح النادي للبيع.

وكان أبراموفيتش قد تعرض للكثير من الانتقادات العنيفة في ظل علاقته بالنظام الروسي، بقيادة فلاديمير بوتين، الذي شن هجومًا موسعًا على أوكرانيا.

وأعلن أبراموفيتش قبل أيام قراره الرسمي بطرح نادي تشيلسي للبيع، دون التعجل لحين العثور على العرض المناسب.

وذكرت شبكة “جول” العالمية أن هناك مجموعة سعودية خاصة بقيادة شركة الإعلام السعودي، سجلت اهتمامًا بشراء تشيلسي من رومان أبراموفيتش.

وأوضحت أن المجموعة السعودية أبلغت اهتمامًا لمجموعة رين، وهو بنك تجاري في نيويورك تعاقد معه تشيلسي للعثور على المشتري المناسب.

وأشارت إلى أن مصادر مطلعة أفادت وجود ما لا يقل عن 10 مشترين جادين، مع اهتمام العديد من الأشخاص الآخرين.

إن العدد الهائل من الأطراف المهتمة، بما في ذلك المجموعة الأمريكية السويسرية التابعة لتود بويلي وهانسجورج ويس، ورجل الأعمال التركي محسن بيرق، يمنح أبراموفيتش بعض الأمل في العثور على عرض يلائم تقييمه للنادي البالغ 3 مليارات جنيه إسترليني.

Georginio Wijnaldum’s agent spread baseless reports that the 30-year-old had received a contract offer from Bayern Munich, FCB Inside have claimed.

The lowdown

Wijnaldum is rapidly nearing the end of his £90,000-per-week Liverpool contract and is currently set to depart Anfield on a free transfer this summer.

The Dutch midfielder has won the Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup during his time at Liverpool, but he has been free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club since January.

Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman, formerly his national team boss for Netherlands, is said to be keen on a reunion with Wijnaldum at the Camp Nou, but it was reported at the end of last month that Bayern would compete for his signature. Julian Nagelsmann, who will be in charge at the Allianz Arena next season, was described as a ‘huge fan’ of the 30-year-old.

The latest

FCB Inside claimed that Humphry Nijman, Wijnaldum’s representative, told the press that Bayern had offered his client a three-year deal.

However, it then emerged the Bayern hierarchy ‘seem to have no interest in a commitment’ for the 30-year-old, with the report stating that Nijman had been spreading rumours about a contract offer from Munich, only for the club’s future CEO Oliver Kahn to shut those down.

The verdict

If the claim is true, then it’s not particularly surprising. It could merely be a ploy from Nijman to extract a better offer from another of Wijnaldum’s suitors.

The player’s disagreement with Liverpool is said to be financial, with their offers failing to reflect his perceived value to the team, but it may be difficult to persuade other clubs to commit to a sizeable multi-year deal when Wijnaldum will turn 31 before the year is out.

In other news, Liverpool have been urged to avoid this potential Wijnaldum replacement.

من المتوقع أن يرحل ماورو إيكاردي في الصيف، بينما لم يلتزم كيليان مبابي بعد بمستقبله للنادي ويمكن أن ينضم إلى ريال مدريد في صفقة انتقال مجانية.

لدى عمالقة الدوري الفرنسي اهتمام طويل الأمد براشفورد وقد أعجب بأداء المهاجم خلال مشاركته في فوز مانشستر يونايتد ضد باريس، أولاً في عام 2019 ثم مرة أخرى في عام 2020.

لا يزال يونايتد حريصًا على إبقاء راشفورد وسيتركون القرار الخاص بشأن مستقبله لمدربه القادم.

Former Southampton midfielder Carlton Palmer expects Ralph Hasenhuttl to be at the club next season but he has told Football FanCast that he could still face the sack if results go sour next term.

Saints are safe this season although they have endured something of an underwhelming campaign at times.

They are currently 14th in the Premier League table but they were beaten 9-0 by Manchester United earlier this season, a result that came in a run of just three wins in 15 games.

Hasenhuttl had actually overseen a promising start to the campaign, as they went seven games unbeaten at the start of the season, but an alarming drop-off has seen his stock somewhat fall. His contract expires in three years, and he has vowed to see that out.

Palmer does not expect him to leave Southampton this summer, either for another job or as a result of a firing, but he has reminded the Austrian that football is a results-based business and nothing more after his contract comments.

Speaking exclusively to FFC, Palmer, who played for the club between 1997 and 1999, said: “Well, you can’t say any manager can last three seasons at a football club. It’s a results-based industry. As simple as it is.

“I mean, if he doesn’t get results over there… I think he’ll be in charge of Southampton next season. I think expectations got high at Southampton because of where they were so early on in the season.

“So you’ve got to be realistic about where you see Southampton. Where do you see them in the league? Where do you see him taking them? I see him being in charge next season but beyond that, you can’t say because it will be based on results.”

“Again, when players like that are linked, Bielsa will have watched him, studied him. He can score goals but the big thing is he can assist and dribble. It wouldn’t surprise me if his work rate is very good.”That could turn out to be a good singing.”

De Paul’s technical quality stands out, with an average of 3.4 dribbles per game in Serie A in 2020/21. He is also hard-working off the ball, as highlighted by averaging 1.2 tackles per match.

The latter metric would suggest that the 26-year-old is happy to put in the hard yards, which could make him well suited to Bielsa’s physically demanding philosophy at Elland Road, hence Phillips’ description of him as a “typical Leeds player”.

This work ethic, coupled with his natural talent, means that the Leeds manager should view De Paul as a primary transfer target this summer.
