وقال شحاتة في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضائية “المحور” عبر برنامج “الريمونتادا”: “من الوارد أن أعود للتدريب مرة أخرى، ولا توجد لدي أزمة”.

وأضاف: “ولكن لا يريد أحد أن أعود لمجال التدريب مرة أخرى، يجب أن نبتعد عن المُجاملات والنفاق من أجل تحقيق النجاح”.

يُذكر، أن شحاتة قد نجح مع منتخب مصر في تحقيق بطولات كأس أمم إفريقيا 2006 و2008 و2010.

وكان الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم برئاسة جمال علام، قد قرر أمس إنهاء عقد البرتغالي كارلوس كيروش المدير الفني لمنتخب مصر.

Solomon-Otabor, who spent last season in the Championship with the Latics, is in demand in the lower leagues.

Both Charlton Athletic and Portsmouth have been linked with an interest in the 25-year-old, as have newly-promoted Championship side Blackpool.

The Latest: Sunderland hopeful

However, it now appears Sunderland are hopeful of signing the winger.

He has already been offered a deal at the Stadium of Light, and the Black Cats are hopeful Solomon-Otabor will choose a move there instead of elsewhere this summer.

The Verdict: Johnson builds

The previous campaign was a disappointing one for Sunderland. At one point, they looked to be in a fantastic position to earn automatic promotion back to the second tier, but a poor run of form at the end of the season condemned them to the play-offs. There, they lost in the semi-finals to Lincoln City.

As such, this coming season is an important one for the north-east outfit. They are close to agreeing a new deal with Aiden McGeady (The Shields Gazette), and now it seems they are hoping to add the services of Solomon-Otabor. He managed two goals and four assists in 28 Championship matches last time out, and has 11 career goals to his name (Transfermarkt). While he has not yet been prolific, he still looks to be an attractive propisition.

West Ham United will soon need to find a long-term successor to Mark Noble.

The long-serving Irons skipper will retire at the end of next season, drawing the curtain down on a phenomenal 18-year career in East London, where he has racked up over 520 appearances for his boyhood club.

At the age of 34, the midfielder has found game time hard to come by in recent months, starting only eight Premier League matches during the 2020/21 season but it’s believed his influence off the pitch is just as important as on it.

Even if he’s not featuring on the pitch, he’s going to be a very hard man to replace this time next year.

And it seems like David Moyes is already planning ahead as the Hammers have been linked to several central midfielders this transfer window, including another Czech sensation in Alex Kral.

Whilst other names include Manchester City unseen gem Yangel Herrera and Israeli international Dor Peretz.

But could the Scot have the perfect heir already at the club?

According to The Athletic’s Roshane Thomas, promising academy starlet Conor Coventry ‘will be looked at’ during pre-season and whilst it’s likely he is shipped out on loan to get valuable game time, he could well return at just the right time to succeed the retiring Irons legend.

The 22-year-old dynamo has been highlighted as a player with big potential by the Daily Mail’s secret scout in the past, claiming that he is ‘forceful in the tackle with a good range of passing’ and that he isn’t afraid to get forward either.

This very much draws some similarities to Noble in his prime.

Thomas has waxed lyrical about Coventry before, too. He described him as an “exciting talent” to The Athletic’s ‘U Irons’ podcast back in October.

“Obviously, when I was at the Southend v West Ham Under-23 game, David Moyes was there – and obviously Conor Coventry scored in that match, so he’s definitely someone Moyes is aware of and I think this is one of the reasons why they allowed Josh Cullen to leave.

“They’re looking at it like, ‘hey, we’ve got someone like Josh Cullen, younger, perhaps much better in terms of career prospects. So, we’re putting all our focus on him right now.'”

Furthermore, well-known fan page West Ham Central dubbed him the “next best thing” from the academy system to the Irish Post, adding that he has “excellent composure and leadership” and is “a real old head on young shoulders.”

All of which provide further positive signs as to why he may be able to fill the void left behind by Noble next year.

One more loan spell, then it could be time to promote Coventry into the first-team full-time.

وأردف: “الاستحواذ يجب أن يحدث، إذا لم يحدث، أخشى حقًا على النادي وأين سينتهي به الحال، مستقبل النادي موضع شك، مستقبلي مشكوك فيه إذا لم يحدث ذلك”.

With the pitch likely to play rather slow and very true, Academy captain Andre Hoffman had no hesitation in batting when he won the toss.Conan Brewer opened the innings for the Academy for the first time alongside Neeten Chouhan, in place of Innocent Chinyoka, who dropped to the middle order. Matthew Townshend, returning to the Matabeleland side after his loss of form, was erratic at first, but picked up the first wicket at 13 when he had Brewer (6) well caught low at second slip by Greg Strydom.Vusi Sibanda enlivened proceedings with some positive strokes, but even hefound it difficult to reach the boundary over the thick grassy outfield.
