Jesse Lingard surprises Thogden with England tickets
England’s man on the ground at the World Cup in Russia was in for a surprise when he received a call from none other than Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard.
Thogden has been blogging about his experiences at the tournament and has attended both of the England matches so far, but he and his dad had not managed to get tickets for England’s final group game against Belgium.
Step in England hero Lingard and Craig Mitch, the presenter of England and the FA’s official Youtube channel at the World Cup, Lions’ Den.
Thogden was speaking to the pair via FaceTime on the Lions’ Den channel and was shocked when they offered him and his dad tickets for the Belgium match.
